Olympus Micro Four Thirds

For those of you that know me, it is fair to say I am not one to sit around. My brain generally never switches off and I am always thinking of what to IMG_0011IMG_0011OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA do next. During my hectic week travelling, I still find it hard not to look at full frame shooters and think as committed and driven as I am if I were still shooting with such heavy kit would I capture and enjoy photography as much as I do now. This week I have travelled from Brighton to London onto Liverpool, then up to Glasgow across to Edinburgh, down to Birmingham and finally heading of to Spain on Friday. It all sounds glamorous but my point here is that Micro Four Thirds allows me to travel with a weeks worth of clothes, camera equipment and gadgets all packed into a case that can go on board a plane. I maybe bias but M43 delivers such amazing results that I truly do not understand why as a street, urban or travel photographer you would want to shoot with anything else. The genres are not limited to those I mention which is to clear to see form the amazing work that is shared from other Micro Four Third photographers around the world.

Here are a few images captured during my travels this week. All were captured with the OM-D E-M5 "Which maybe seen as old technology now but I still love it" and the Olympus 17mm f/1.8 prime lens which I have loved ever since owning.

Liverpool Pride at it's best.

I hoped you enjoyed my whistle stop tour of four cities, I had a blast. Next stop is Spain, tomorrow where I will be enjoying shooting with the Olympus TG-3 and the OM-D E-M1. It would be good to hear your own personal stories from your recent travels via my comments section.
