I cannot believe that it is almost two years since my last post. Back in late 2014 I had to make the hardest decision which was to focus on my full time career in order to support my family. I love, sharing my love for Photography and Olympus and whilst I will not be able to blog as often as I did, I intend to start again. During the last two years I have continued to shoot wherever I go and I still find myself picking up my original OM-D E-M5 on many occasions. For me it has the nostalgia of the early Olympus film cameras, in my eyes it was the first digital camera for Olympus that changed the game.
With Photokina around the corner and many Olympus rumours flying around I will certainly be looking to add to my collection this year. Whilst we are on the subject of new equipment, for anyone that still questions what camera brand is the best Nikon, Canon, Olympus etc, stop right now. Honestly you will develop your style and skills far better if you look at the company behind the name. Each year technology advances and will continue to do so, the team at Olympus are amazing and I truly thank them for everything they have done for me. I met so many talented people, which as a result of that my passion, skills and work developed at a far faster pace than I would ever been able to have done on my own. My recommendation\ advise is to book on as many of the Olympus events as you can. Start building relationships, sharing experiences, frustrations etc. it will be the best thing that you ever do.
To close this blog I wanted to include a few photos from a recent trip where I visited the small and beautiful mediterranean island of Formentera and also mainland Spain. I have my next trip planned for mid October which will hopefully include a review of a new lens or two. Finally, thank you to all my followers who have continued to visit my site and ask me questions during a time when I haven't given much back.
Speak to you all soon,
